Rebecca Lynn has been enthusiastically painting for over 30 years. Silk painting has been her primary medium for 24 years. Silk painting encompasses movement, texture, and color. Each piece of silk is differentiated by its subtle flaws, depth, and beauty, creating an ever-changing surface for Rebecca to paint.
Rebecca has recently revisited her love of clay and glazes and is building a functional ceramic line for the home. Both silk painting and ceramics have similar multistep processes requiring; water, heat, and organic materials.
